Phosphorescent emissions at room temperature from solid-state self sustained film fabricated using phenazine derivative molecules blended in a solution of poly(methyl methacrylate) were investigated at steady-state experimental conditions. Stripe excitation by a pulsed laser at different levels of intensities and different lengths of stripes, originates a guided emission up to the edge of the film, enabling us to assume higher gain characteristics for triplet states of the medium, due to the relatively higher contribution of the total integrated area for the phosphorescent part of the emission spectra.
