Clock-offset measurement over a 50 km nonreciprocal fiber link with linear optical sampling

We demonstrated a sub-100 picosecond level transmission stability clock-offset measurement via a 50 km nonreciprocal fiber link with a dual comb LOS technique. This experiment result supports the remote high precision time and frequency transmission and synchronization of two or more combs over practical commercial optical communication system fiber links, which conformed to the DWDM international standards system. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first similar demonstration have been reported.
