Intense laser pumping of semiconductor particles in the fundamental absorption band leads to an increase in the refractive and absorption indices of the particle material due to interband transitions. For a certain relation between the particle size and the pump wavelength, this should lead to remarkable changes in the scattering efficiency at certain values of the pump intensity. This work presents the results of experimental study and model interpretation of the effect of resonant scattering excitation in TiO2 particles with an increase in the pump intensity.
