Quantum interference and quantum entanglement: incompatibility with determinism

Quantum interference, and hence quantum entanglement, are firmly based on the indeterminacy of quantum mechanics. Therefore, these phenomena are intrinsically incompatible with classical determinism. The implications for determinism and “superdeterminism” are discussed.
