This paper addresses the issue of inadequate illuminance on the work surface in the post-finishing workshop of a clothing factory. T8 LED light tubes with adjustable brightness and color temperature were installed in the workshop to allow workers to control the lighting. Additionally, an illuminance acquisition system was designed, and illuminance sensors were strategically placed in accordance with the workflow to dynamically monitor the illuminance on the work surface for a period of one year. The collected illuminance data was quantitatively analyzed to explore the suitable illuminance thresholds and color temperature preferences of workers in real-world scenarios and optimize the lighting layout accordingly. The light environment of post-finishing workshop was optimized according to the uniformity.
