We present a survey of the throughout values reported in current state-of-the-art transmission experiments as a function of distance. This is an updated version of the original figure presented in Proceedings of the IEEE, vol. 110, no. 11, pp. 1655-1678, Nov. 2022 and is also presented at OFC 2024.
